Cheshire Chamber Fall Festival Approaches

The festival and marketplace is two weeks away!

The 24th Annual Cheshire Fall Festival and Marketplace will be held on Saturday, September 8th at Bartlem Park. The craft show opens at 10:00 a.m. and the main event will begin at 11:00 a.m. The fireworks will start at approximately 8:30 p.m.

“Every year the community support for the Fall Festival grows, and vendor participation was at an all-time high last year. Through the hard work of our festival committee, I anticipate an even bigger event this year,” said Sheldon Dill, president of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.

The Fall Festival and Marketplace attractions will include: business and community booths, a food court, the farmers market, a hot dog eating contest, an arts and craft show, a classic car show, the YMCA Kids Zone, entertainment including music by local musicians, and the Kiwanis Carnival.

A late addition to the festivities is a free concert by Aztec Two Step on Friday, Sept. 7, at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the extremely popular local band, Eight to the Bar, will perform on the main stage from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday evening fireworks follow the concert and will again be a major attraction of the event.

The Cheshire Marketplace is presented by the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Town of Cheshire.
