Cheshire YMCA Members Have Free Access to All New England Locations

YMCAs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island began program last year; it's now expanded to all six states.

Fitness fans on vacation don't have to change their routine if they're members of a YMCA. A new program allows Y members in Connecticut to use YMCAs across New England at no charge.

The program, which began in June, allows Y members in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont to access all YMCAs in these states at no charge when they present a valid Y ID card.

The program is called  “My Y is Every Y.” Members should bring their YMCA ID card and a photo ID card to check into a partner Y.

“No matter where our members travel in these states, they’ll be able to stay connected to the local community and improve their health and well-being," said Lisa Drouin, Resource Director for YMCA of the USA.
