The Cheshire High School Ram shows his support for the “R-Word Pledge” during the B1 Day event on March 30 at Cheshire High School.
The “R-Word Pledge” also known as "Spread the Word to End the Word" is a Best Buddies and Special Olympics initiative to create awareness and support the elimination of the derogatory use of the word "retard(ed)" from everyday speech and promote the acceptance and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
