Mary L. Malin, Realtor with Calcagni Associates Real Estate in Cheshire, was recently honored with the “Special Support of the Community” award from the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce. The award was given at this year’s Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner, held on February 12th at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford. Mary received this honor in recognition of all the years she has tirelessly supported the Chamber in their endeavors to help the community of Cheshire.
In addition to her involvement with the Cheshire Chamber, she has also been President of the Cheshire Rotary club for 2 terms, is on the Board of Managers for the local Cheshire Y, works with the Silent Auction and Wine Tasting committee for the Chamber, the Health and Wellness committee for the Chamber, and over the years various other roles in both church, school and civic clubs.
Mary, who has been Realtor with Calcagni Associates since 1985, has been active in the Cheshire community for decades. “Mary exemplifies what we believe a Realtor on our team should be,” said Calcagni. “She is always looking for new ways to serve the town in which she lives and works. Her work with the Board of Managers at the Cheshire YMCA and her service as President of the Rotary Club of Cheshire showcases Mary’s dedication to making Cheshire a stronger community.
