Habitat for Humanity-SGB is Looking for Volunteers

Habitat for Humanity-SGB is Looking for
Volunteers who  are interested in coming out to work on Saturday, July 28, 2012.  The work will take place at 390 Gilbert Avenue in Hamden, 8:45am to 3:30pm.   This is not an ordinary project for us for two reasons 1) it is a renovation instead of new construction 2) the house itself is a 100 year old farmhouse.  This makes the work even more fun & rewarding.  If you have ever had the inclination to volunteer but were afraid that you lacked the skills – don’t worry,  the only thing you need to bring is yourself.  No particular skills or experience are required and Habitat will provide all the tools.  Those interested in volunteering are asked to register via the signup form found on our  website:www.sleepinggiantbuild.org/SignUp.htm or call Mike Healy 203-233-0141.  Please do not just show up on   the day of the build or you will be turned away.  Anyone who is interest in coming out to build must be registered in advance as the number of volunteers allowed onsite is limited.

Additional information (what to wear/bring) can be found on our website.www.SleepingGiantBuild.org
