Waterbury Regional Chamber to Host Harold Webster Smith Awards Breakfast Jan. 31 - Governor Malloy Keynote Speaker

On Thursday, January 31, from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m., the Waterbury Regional Chamber will host their annual Harold Webster Smith Awards breakfast held annually in honor of founder of Webster Bank in 1935, Harold Webster Smith. Connecticut Governor Malloy will be keynote speaker.

Smith served as CEO until 1987 and chairman of the board until 1995. Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy will be the breakfast’s keynote speaker. Awards to be presented to small businesses that also have the vision to expand, diversify, and prosper.

Award recipients for 2013 include Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe, Middlebury Consignment, LLC, and Marion Manufacturing Company.

The breakfast will be held at the Coco Key Hotel & Conference Center at 3580 East Main Street in Waterbury. The cost is $35/person for Waterbury Regional Chamber members, and $50/person for non-members.
