Cheshire Memorial Day Parade

The Cheshire Memorial Day Parade will be held on Sunday, May 26.  This year's parade is dedicated to Richard Kirby, former commander of the VFW Post 10052.  He began the parade in 1967 and was the first parade marshal.  Mr. Kirby is a Korean War veteran and served in the Navy aboard a minesweeper off the coast of Korea during the war.   Parade starts at 1:30 pm at the Police Station/Highland School and ends at Cheshire High School. Please join us as spectators, or if you are interested in maching in the parade or entering a float, please contact Cheryl at the Parks & Recreation Dept. at 203-272-2743.
