Lunch & Learn Examines Careful Caregiving for Aging Adults

SOUTHINGTON - The Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging will present a Lunch & Learn program about the various caregiving options for aging adults. The event will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging, The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Memorial campus, 81 Meriden Ave. Jessica Dakin, CCHA geriatric care manager, will lead the program.

Individuals can learn about choosing the right home healthcare provider for themselves or their loved ones, what benefits can be realized by hiring a geriatric care manager, and where to locate the necessary resources to age in place. A complimentary lunch will be served during the program.
