Red Cross Helping Cheshire Family After Tuesday Fire

CHESHIRE, CONN., January 30, 2014 – The American Red Cross is helping a family of two adults and four children with emergency food and clothing needs after a fire Tuesday on Hickory Lane in Cheshire. Red Cross team member Sue Parker met with the family today to provide assistance. Parker said the Town of Cheshire and other community groups were also working to help the family in the wake of the fire.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a family might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
