Brace for a Messy Morning Commute

With snow in the forecast, and possible heavy snow squalls, it's going to feel a lot like winter in Cheshire on Tuesday.

It looks like it's time to break out the heavy winter coats, shovels and other winter essentials as the first storm of the season will hit early Tuesday morning.

According to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the National Weather Service, an arctic front will move into our area on Nov. 12 and bring with it some snow. The snow could become heavy at times, the NWS states, and potentially come in the form of squalls.

"The timing of this precipitation is expected during the Tuesday morning commute," the NWS says. "Falling temperatures combined with briefly moderate to heavy snow squalls may result in a coating of snow accumulation."

"This may create some slippery travel along with poor visibility during the Tuesday morning commute," the weather service predicts.
