Buying for the Benefit of Today's Youth

The Cheshire Lutheran Church will host a giant tag sale on April 27 to support a youth good will trip later this summer.

Looking for that unique item to complete your home décor? Seeking vintage items for your collection? Just want to find a good deal? Well then the Cheshire Lutheran Church may have the answer you are looking for.

The church will host a giant community tag sale on April 27 as part of an effort to help raise funds for community service efforts in places across the nation.

The sale will feature a wide variety of goods, from homemade items to gently used and donated products as part of the sale at its 660 W. Main St. campus. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public.

Organizers said all proceeds from the event would go toward supporting a trip to the 2013 National Youth Gathering of LCMS from July 1 – 5 in San Antonio, Texas. Traveling youth ministry members will learn about the importance of community service and use their talents to make a difference in the community while there.
