Cheshire is Third in State Energy Challenge

Cheshire ranks in top three out of 14 towns in the Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge.

A free Home Energy Basics workshop will be held at Temple Beth David at 3 Main St. on July 20 from 7 p.m. to - 8:30 p.m. This workshop will inform Cheshire residents about state tax incentives and rebates available for home energy efficiency upgrades.

Workshop attendees will learn about the Home Energy Solutions (HES) program and why a HES visit is the most effective way to improve home energy efficiency, and save serious money on utility bills. Home Energy Solution’s technicians will be present to answer any questions.

Residents may register for the event by contacting Pat Brasnahan at 203-272-0037 or email Office@TBDCheshire.org.
