Cheshire’s Most Noteworthy Trees?

The Cheshire Town Beautification Committee has selected the five most noteworthy trees in Cheshire, according to The Record Journal.

The Cheshire Town Beautification Committee recently selected the five most noteworthy trees in town, according to The Record Journal.

Economic Development Coordinator Jerry Stiko told The Record Journal that the annual event is meant to "recognize and draw the public’s attention to the beauty, diversity and value of trees."

The trees that were recognized this year were, according to The Record Journal:

• River Birch, 1818 Highland Avenue
• Paperbark Maple, 1721 Highland Avenue
• Contorted Larch, 360 Patton Drive
• Dawn Redwood , 98 Elm Street
• Blue Atlas, 1016 Wolf Hill Road
