The Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Lecture Series for Seniors continues at the Cheshire Public Library Thursday, May 19, with a free interactive presentation for adult children and their parents entitled “Facing the Future Together.” Thought provoking videos and discussion around topics like diet and exercise, keeping  brain fit, making good retirement decisions  and health care needs. Tune up the sneakers:  The Cheshire Sea Dog 5K and 10K road races, and kids’ “doggie dash fun runs” are at 10 a.m. this Sunday, May 22, at Bartlem park, across from Cheshire High School. Friday is the last day to register.  There is a $25 fee to participate in all races. The races are co-sponsored by the Cheshire YMCA and the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and are in conjunction with the 2nd annual Healthy Living Expo and the YMCA Tour de Cheshire Family Bike Event.  Money raised from fees helps support YMCA programs such as the Strong Kids Campaign.
