Cheshire Farm Dinner: Fresh from the Field

Boulder Knoll Farm holds third annual dinner at the community farm site.

Tables and shade tents were placed strategically near tall hardwoods which blocked the evening sun on Tuesday making for a breezy and welcoming setting for Boulder Knoll Community Farm's third annual farm dinner.

Members and friends of the non-profit farm enjoyed gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from Caseus Bistro in New Haven and deserts from Jordan's Caterers of Cheshire.

The two businesses donated their food and labor to benefit the farm which operates as communty supported agriculture which distributes harvest shares during the growing season. The property is owned by the town of Cheshire as open space land that is protected from development.

More information about Boulder Knoll can be found on their website and Facebook page.
