Go Apple Picking In New Haven County

This season, if want to get get fresh-picked fruit, you should go soon.

"The apples are early this year thanks to a mild winter and spring so if you're planning to go apple picking, it would be smart to go soon," said Abbie Walston, whose family owns Rose Orchards in North Branford.

In New Haven County, we are lucky to have so many orchards where we can buy locally grown apples. There are a multitude of orchards where you can pick your own – always a fun day out for the family (share your apple-picking photos on our Pics & Clips gallery).
