TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction On Rt. 42 To Last Until November

Work will be done at the intersection of King Road and North Brooksvale Road.

A press release from the Town of Cheshire:

The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation's construction project on North Brooksvale Road (Route 42) at its intersection with King Road will be starting early this summer and will continue through the month of November 2013. Notification of the start date will be published on the town's website when the State finalizes their schedule.

This project is designed to improve drainage, improve road conditions, and reduce accidents in the area. Motorists should expect delays due to changing traffic patterns, lane closures, detours, and temporary traffic stoppages.
