Chris Merwin – Japanese Flute

Chris Merwin has spent the last twenty-one years studying various instruments such as the guitar, Arabic oud, Hawaiian steel guitar, and the Japanese shakuhachi flute.

His travels have taken him to Tibet, Japan, China, Egypt, Hawaii, and many other places. He has performed at the United Nations, for local congressmen, and has made numerous appearances on TV and radio.

His concert at the library will focus on the music of the Japanese shakuhachi flute.
