Lend Me a Tenor

Cheshire Community Theater (cheshirecommtheater.org) presents Ken Ludwig's comedy, Lend Me a Tenor, at Cheshire High School's Thorp Auditorium on Friday and Saturday, April 27th and 28th, at 8 pm and Sunday, April 29th, at 2 pm. Tickets $15 /$12 seniors or students.  Call (203)250-8313 for tickets or information, or visit the group's website.  In 1934, the renowned tenor “Il Stupendo” is set to sing the lead in Otello at a gala fundraiser for the Cleveland Opera Company. Even before the star leaves his hotel room, everything starts to fall apart. A chain-reaction of mistaken identities, farcical plot twists, innuendos and general comedic chaos ensues with plenty of exits and entrances through various doors on stage.  Plenty of laughs for all.
