What's Cooking in New England at the Library

Cookbook author Diane Gardner will talk about her new cookbook and sign and sell copies of it. There will be a tasting as well.

"What's Cooking in New England?" gives a small sampling of recipes collected from farms to seaside bistros...... and all that’s in between.

You will find a sumptuous collection of recipes from country markets, cheese mongers, fruit orchards, cattle and goat farms, wine shops and vineyards, restaurants, and fish markets, as well as families and friends that are native New Englanders!

With her books in more than 250 book stores, gift shops, boutiques, and restaurants spanning from northern Maine to New York City, it’s nearly impossible to comprehend that author Diane Gardner’s need to escape boredom inspired her first New England cookbook .

As a full-time stay-at-home mom, Diane has immersed herself into the joys of raising a family in the quaint shoreline town of Madison, Connecticut. Diane thrives on her passion for cooking, and embraces any opportunity she can to share her experience, techniques, and tips that will encourage everyone to enjoy creating meals that are memorable and fun.
