Five Things to Do this Weekend Around Cheshire

  1. Come here one of Cheshire's favorite bands for free; Eight to the Bar. . Friday (tonight), 7:30 pm. Come out and support Cheshire Dog Park volunteers who are selling and hot dogs! Call 203-250-2470 to see if rain will cancel.
  2. , Saturday, 10 a.m. 83 W Main St, Plantsville. Free instructions and flat repair on the Farmington Canal Linear Park.
  3. , Saturday, 1 p.m. Boulder Knoll Farm, 720 Boulder Rd. Free, but please preregister! Workshop will build on basic knowledge to include crop rotation, companion plantings and soil testing.
  4. Wakah Chan: Jazz Funk.Saturday at 7 p.m. , 130 Elm St. $5.00
  5. , Sunday, 4:00 pm, 1232 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Free.
