Five Things to do This Weekend in Cheshire

Cheshire Academy Bowl Game, rugby training and COCO run heat up weekend events.

  1. Cheshire Academy went 8-0 this season and will play in a bowl game Friday. Catch the action! Cheshire Academy vs Choate - Arthur Valicenti Bowl, Friday, 7:30 p.m., 10 Main St., Cheshire. Free.
  2. "America's Funniest Mom" at Funky Monkey Comedy Night. Friday, 08:00 pm, 130 Elm St. $15
  3. Saturday, 10:00 am, 414 N Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire. Free.
  4. , Saturday, 11 a.m., 525 S Main St, Cheshire. Free.
  5. Perhaps the most important thing to do all weekend is avoid the detour on West Main Street that will close a portion of the busy road near Willow Avenue from Friday night until Monday morning. Test your knowledge of side roads and find another way around the area. You'll be glad you did!
