Take a Walk Through the History of Art

Visitors to Artsplace may visit the newly painted mural at the town-owned art school.

The art of painting may stretch back thousands of years but students and visitors to Artsplace can immerse themselves in art history  in a few quick steps.

A mural depicting the "History of Painting" is now on display along an outdoor corridor at Artsplace. It was painted by the school's art teachers and students.

Renowned Cheshire muralist Tony Falcone worked with Cheshire High School art students from an Advanced Placement Studio Art Class to explore the details of well-known paintings from prehistoric cave art to contemporary art.
