The Lorax at Cheshire Library
Green message combined with kids crafts brings fun!
To celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday and with a nod to the opening day of The Lorax movie, the on Saturday combined a story time featuring green energy facts with Cat in the Hat crafts for a morning full of fun.
Representatives from Cheshire's Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge read The Lorax book with its famous line "Unless someone like you...cares a whole awful lot...nothing is going to get better...It's not," to teach children about energy savings and green actions.
Crafts and snacks were then offered during the free event that welcomed children six years old and older.
