Romney a Compassionate Conservative Liar?

Finally! After 6 years has Mitt Romney figured out how to lie compassionately?

How? By talking about how Paul Ryan loves his mother, while fooling us by ignoring Ryan’s misogynistic voting record. Willing to throw women’s newly acquired health care rights under the bus. Criminalizing abortion even in cases of rape and incest.

Finally! 

By mentioning women over and over in his speech, while intending to take away their right to choose.

Finally!

By characterizing Paul Ryan as caring, when in truth Ryan made a conscious decision along with other Republican congressional leaders not to cooperate with Obama no matter what, even when they agreed with him so that he would fail. That’s how much he loves the United States of America.

Finally! 

By making these false statements: “That president was not the choice of our party, but Americans always come together after elections. We are a good and generous people who are united by so much more than what divides us…I wish President Obama had succeeded…. But his promises gave way to disappointment and division … It’s time to put aside the divisiveness and the recriminations.”
Oops! He forgot that his party had one agenda – not to work with or compromise with Obama, no matter how much it hurt us.

Finally! 

He put on a human face: a kind Mormon who served as a lay priest and bishop tending his flock of Mormons.

How kind a face is that really?  He was brought up and indoctrinated with the view of his church that banned blacks from the religious leadership; a position open to nearly all white Mormon males. The church had also barred black men and women from temple ceremonies that promised access in the afterlife to the highest heaven. The reason? Mormons believe blacks were descendants of Cain.
Then in 1978 a miracle occurred and God revealed to a Mormon leader that blacks could become priests. Romney has never repudiated this tenet of his religion.

Finally! 

By not acknowledging even once the sacrifices made by our armed forces who risk and give their lives on a daily basis since former President George W. Bush sent them to war, and to invoke Cold War language and bellicose warnings.
(If you look at the demographics of our soldiers: less educated and a significantly inordinate number of blacks you might understand why.)

Finally!

He did not have enough to descry the shameful way President Obama was depicted by some Romney surrogates, especially Clint Eastwood. Romney found a way to desecrate the presidency and our president without dirtying his own hands.

Finally!

After 6 years Mitt Romney managed to look and sound human. How human?
Sufficiently human to compassionately lie about how he will lower taxes on the middle class, create tens of millions of jobs, balance the budget while he plans to lower taxes on the wealthy and balance the budget on the backs of the middle class on down.

Finally! After 6 years Mitt Romney figured out how to put on a compassionate face by  lying outright and pledging,  “America will care for the poor and the sick, will honor and respect the elderly, and will give a helping hand to those in need.”
