Cheshire's Only Toy Store to Close
Independently owned store in the Watch Factory Shoppes to close its doors
Subscribers to a newsletter fromwere told Wednesday that the long-established store was closing. The notice said an inventory liquidation, including fixtures, was underway.
Bill and Anne DeFusco own the store located in the Watch Factory Shoppes on Elm Street, behind Town Hall. The couple also own a store called Mr. D's at 50 North Main St. in Wallingford. That location sells toys as well as ice cream, candy and cupcakes. It opened in Oct., 2010.
No date for the closing of the Cheshire location was available, but the store's website, hosted by GoDaddy.com, states the domain name expired on Jan. 4 and is no longer valid.
