Cheshire Chefs to Cook in NYC

Jordan Caterers chefs invited to cook at James Beard House.

Chefs Kevin Cottle and Van Hurd, the lead chefs at award-winning
, will cook at the James Beard House in New York City on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

"I'm thrilled about it," said Jordan Rapoport, managing
director of Jordan Caterers.  "I'm proud that we're offering our
clients the level of quality sought out by the Beard Foundation."

Chefs Cottle and Hurd will present a "Softshell Crab Extravaganza" featuring Maryland softshell crab in every savory course, and, Master Sommelier Stephen Greenwood with the San Francisco Wine Exchange has paired top-notch wine selections.

Managed by the James Beard Foundation, the historic renovated brownstone, located at 167 West 12th Street in the heart of Greenwich Village, is North
America's only historical culinary center. The dinner is sold out.

The two chefs manage the culinary operations of Jordan Caterers, a second generation catering and events firm based in Cheshire since 1979, and winner of Connecticut Magazine's “Best of Connecticut” 12 consecutive years;
