Fans of the tart, self-serve frozen yogurt store, FroYo, may have visited a location in New Haven, Hamden or Middletown, but soon, they'll be able to stroll into the new Cheshire store in Maplecroft Plaza.
"We are opening very soon, but don't know the exact date," owner William Bok said in an email on Wednesday. A posting on the company's website announced interviews for jobs will be held tomorrow, Sept. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 191 Highland Ave. (The location of the former Holly's Hallmark Store.)
Word of the Cheshire store opening came last winter when the location was expected to open in May.
The company's website shows it has eight locations in Connecticut and lists the Cheshire store as "indulging soon." The Middletown location celebrated its grand opening on Sept. 15.
A peek inside the Cheshire FroYo storefront shows that painting and renovations are underway. A note on the door requests resumes and applications for a store manager in Cheshire be sent by email for consideration.
