The state's “Still Revolutionary” tourism campaign wants Facebook fans and Twitter followers to help pick the best spot to visit in the state.
The campaign announced it’s using Facebook and Twitter during the next two weeks to get submissions for a state destination "that most exemplified ‘still revolutionary.’” The suggestions will then be voted on by residents and others.
Nominations can be submitted on the group’s Facebook page, if the location suggested follows the ‘still revolutionary’ idea. The location should “serve as a true tourism attraction/destination for the state, either built or natural.”
Submissions are also accepted through Twitter. Not eligible for nominations are restaurants, individuals, retail stores, cities or municipalities.
