[UPDATE] Visions for Vacancies: Cheshire Restaurant

Cheshire folks let us know what they would like to see open up in the long-empty Shangri-La space in the Cheshire Shopping Center on South Main Street. Here are their comments:

I too like independently owned businesses! The idea of a health food restaurant, medium priced. Great idea.

No more pharmacies! Ditto on the Panera, Au Bon Pain. There are no midvalue restaurants in town, either really casual or really expensive. Also, what about a Michaels or a Payless?

A casual dining restaurant like a Friday's that is appropriate to bring kids to, and also has a good bar atmosphere for watching games.

No more chains!

A Jewish Deli or Bakery

A high quality, authentic Asian fusion restaurant with sports bar

Cheshire Patch I like that idea! It would be nice if it were independently owned! Maybe a spot for steamed cheeseburgers to fill the gap left when Owen's Deli closed?

Cheshire Patch I would like something like a Damon's too. Spent some fun times there, TV monitors in every booth... way ahead of their time!
