As a long time, Cheshire business owner, active member of the florist industry on a national level and now employee of The Cheshire Nursery Florist,  I am increasingly frustrated by the deceptive advertising practices of many online florist companies.  Please be sure that when you place any floral order you are dealing directly with a local business by asking questions. Local florists charge only a delivery fee and CT  sales tax. There are no other handling fees unless your order is for delivery outside of CT. Your flowers are actually designed and personally delivered. Product is fresh,
fully quaranteed and not left on the doorstep. Your local florist will remember your name and will know your favroite flowers. Your local florist will remember that first father daughter dance corsage when it's
time for her wedding!!!
Your local florist will be there there for support when you lose a loved one.
Your local florist responds when you ask for support for your local organizations' fund raisers. Your local florist is likely your neighbor and might employ you or your high school /college student  Your local florist pays taxes in your
community. Your local florist takes pride in expressing your feelings through flowers. It is time we, as communities support our local entrepreneurs.

Support your local small businesses. Add their personal web addresses to your data base. Make it your priority to shop local whenever you can.
