Former Town Council member Tim White has been awarded a $1,100 scholarship by the Suburban Garden Club of Cheshire.
White recently returned from an 18-month assignment in Haiti as director of finance for the the Haitian Health Foundation. White will now atttend Yale’s School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
Working toward a Master of Environmental Management, White hopes to use his environmental knowledge and financial skills as a CPA to help organizations become environmentally friendly.
