Judge Delays Release of Komisarjevsky Witness Lists

Also orders removal of the name of the defendant's child from the witness list

The judge in the Cheshire home invasion murder trial has again issued a stay of his order to release prospective witness lists to the Hartford Courant.

Judge Jon C. Blue also ordered the removal of the name of Joshua Komisarjevsky’s nine-year-old daughter from the list prior to the release.

In his order, Blue noted that Komisarjevsky’s defense lawyers said they would appeal the witness list release by the end of the week, so he granted their request to continue the stay that has been in effect since he entered the order at the beginning of the month.

If a reviewing court does not enter another stay by 2 p.m. on May 4, however, the witness lists, minus the name of the child, would be made public.

Jury selection continued Thursday, with the selection of the eighth juror.
