Love Letters from Victorian Poets

The love letters of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning are released online just in time for Valentine's Day.

An agreement between Wellesley College and Baylor University has created an online treasure trove of romance. According Wellesley scholars, the love letters of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning were written almost daily from January 1845 to September 1846.

The letters "offer a thrilling tale of intellectual sympathy, mutual admiration, and a daring elopement," according to Wellesley.

A blog written by Wellesley's Jenifer Bartle, notes that the love letters are some of the most famous ever written.
