'Sensory Perception' Film Shows Apocalyptic Vision for a Recovering Addict

Some scenes for the independent film were shot last weekend in Cheshire.

Post-apocalyptic films are usually science fiction or horror fantasies, like , but a new independent film with scenes filmed in over the weekend features post-apocalypse visions with a plot planted in contemporary reality.

According to an article by the Journal-Record, the film “Sensory Perception,” which had scenes shot in Cheshire on Sunday, is about a recovering drug addict who sees visions of an apocalyptic future. The article says the film ultimately has an inspirational message, according to the filmmakers.

Most of the cast are unknowns, but “Sensory Perception” also includes veteran actor Corbin Bernsen, Ultimate Fighting martial artist Gabriel Gonzaga and professional wrestler Tommy Dreamer.
