Social Security Expert Endorses Esty for Congress
Yale professor Ted Marmor worked with Esty on public policy issues.
A leading expert on Social Security and Medicare has endorsed resident Elizabeth Esty, who for Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District.
Connecticutplus.com reported this week that Esty received the endorsement of Ted Marmor, professor emeritus of public policy and political science at Yale University.
The web site said Esty worked with Marmor on Medicare and Social Security policy at the Robert Wood Johnson program at Yale.

She is vying for the nomination in a crowded field to replace U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy, also of Cheshire, who decided to run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Joseph I. Lieberman.
