Spring Has Arrived! When Do Cheshire Area Farmers Markets Open?

Say good-bye to dreary winter and hello to great local produce this spring!

With the long and harsh winter season finally over, there are many Connecticut residents celebrating the official return of spring this Wednesday, March 20!

And while spring brings many great changes to Cheshire, it also means the town is one step closer to seeing the return of the nearby Plantsville Farmers Market, run every Friday starting in early summer.

But there's still some time to wait. So in the meantime, feel free to use the map above to find a closer location for the soon to open markets.

Check out Patch's map, posted above, of nearby farmers markets all over the state. The map was created with information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agriculture Marketing Service website.
