State Aids Expansion of Cheshire Fitness Zone

The company, providing physical, speech and occupational therapy for special needs children, will be able to expand and add jobs at a new location.

The Cheshire Fitness Zone, which is  in , will receive financial aid from the state’s Small Business Express program to allow it to expand to a new location and create jobs.

An article in the New Haven Register said the decision to add Cheshire Fitness Zone to the Small Business Express program will provide the company with a $100,000 matching grant and a $250,000 loan from the state.

The business plans a $1.5 million expansion and relocation that is expected to create 14 jobs in Cheshire. Cheshire Fitness Zone offers physical, speech and occupational therapy for special needs individuals.
