CfAL Wine Tasting Fundraiser "The Gala"
Concepts for Adaptive Learning (CfAL) is a not-for-profit organization working to close the technology gap and improve children's education in New Haven's poorest neighborhoods. Through its Technology Cascade & Training Program, disadvantaged parents learn how to use a computer and are educated on the benefits that technology can have on motivating their children. Upon completion of the training, parents are given a gently used computer that CfAL installs in their home at no cost to the family. More than 2,500 families have participated in the program.
Meteorologist from WTNH, Erika Martin will be Emcee joined by WTNH New Anchor, Keith Kountz.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to give underserved parents computer training and a refurbished computer.
