End of Summer Campfire at Camp Mattatuck

Come join Camp Mattatuck this Saturday, August 10th for a
spectacular end of summer campfire and torch lighting ceremony! Starting in the
1940s an amazing end of season ceremony has been performed to close out the
camping program. Campers and staff members light up the night with torches and
canoes form beautiful rosettes on the lake. Families return year after year to
watch this breathtaking event. The campfire show will start at 8pm with the
torch lighting ceremony directly following. Is event is free of charge and the
camp has plenty of parking.



 Camp Mattatuck is a
part of the Connecticut Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America. Situated on 500
acres of land in beautiful Plymouth, CT the camp serves nearly 2000 campers
every summer. The camp also provides a year-round program including camping in
cabins and tents, camporees, and fishing derbies. For more information
