Free family-friendly concert

The

Connecticut POPS!, under the direction of Dr. Richard Gard, will present their

annual spring concert, "Space Odyssey" on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3 PM

at the Mainstage Theatre of Naugatuck Valley Community College.  This free, family-friendly multimedia concert
will also feature the NVCC Repertory Dancers and guest vocalist Eve Gard.  The musical menu will include selections from

Star Trek and Star Wars, Cirque du Soleil, Holst's Planets and many more.  Raffles will be held for both children and
adults.


The
Connecticut POPS! is an approximately 30 member group of musicians who enjoy
sharing their talents for all to enjoy. 
The band is comprised of both NVCC students and a core group of
community members who are able to mentor the students and help them improve
their musicianship.  New members are

always welcome.  For more information
