Help in Cheshire for "Dress a Girl Around the World"

Join Dress A Girl as we meet this Saturday in Cheshire to transform ordinary pillowcases into extraordinary dresses for little girls worldwide!

Dress a Girl is a volunteer driven group of big-hearted people that want to help bless girls with their first new, handmade pillowcase dress.  We seek to raise the self esteem of girls worldwide by providing them with a beautiful dress that once began as an ordinary pillowcase.  It is an easy process but requires donations of supplies and helpers to put them together and ship them.  Sound interesting?

Here is an opportunity to help:

Join us Saturday, March 31st from 9am - 1pm at Cornerstone Church, 1146 Waterbury Road. (Next to Artsplace).

No experience is necessary!  If you have a sewing machine, bring it and we'll put you to work!  If not, grab a few pillowcases or a few dollars to donate and join us!  We will teach you one of the steps such as cutting, ironing, pinning or sewing.  Together many hands make light work!  It is fun time to get to know one another and you'll feel great for getting involved!
