Cheshire Obituaries: Mildred Rosselot, 91

A caring and compassionate woman, Millie was always there to help people and animals. She was an amazing grandmother who loved her grandchildren.

Mildred L. (Riccuito) Rosselot, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at The Highlands Health Care Center.

Mrs. Rosselot was born on Oct. 22, 1922 in Waterbury, daughter of the late James and Susan (Accuosti) Riccuito and the wife of the late Paul J. Rosselot. She worked at Queens Kitchen Bakery, the family business, for 40 years and after for Airpax in Cheshire. A caring and compassionate woman, Millie was always there to help people and animals. She was an amazing grandmother who loved her grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Suzzanne Rosselot and her partner, Kathleen Clark of Syracuse, NY, and her step-daughter, Marie Upatoff and her husband James of Wolcott. She also leaves Paul’s children, James Cyr of Venezuela, Charmaine Albini of Wolcott, and Richarde Rosselot; her sister-in-law Rosemary Riccuito of Waterbury and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Millie was predeceased by her step-son, Joseph Rosselot, her brother James Riccuito and her sister Theresa Upatoff. 

Millie’s family would like to thank the entire staff of The Highlands Health Care Center for their outstanding and loving care shown to Millie and her family.
