Cheshire Obituaries: Norman G. McDuff, 67

He served his country during Vietnam in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of both the Farms Country Club in Wallingford as well as the Waterbury Country Club. He also enjoyed watching the Yankees.

Norman G. McDuff, 67, passed away Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital with his family at his side.  He was the husband of Jane (Marcil) McDuff.

Norm was born Feb. 21, 1946 in Waterbury, the son of the late Rene’ and Rita (Bazinet) McDuff.  He was a Sales Professional, working in the Manufacturing Industry for many years.  

He served his country during Vietnam in the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed golfing and was a member of both the Farms Country Club in Wallingford as well as the Waterbury Country Club.  He also enjoyed watching the Yankees.

Besides his wife of 45 years, Norm is survived by his daughter Amy McDuff Guzman and her husband Jose of Waterbury; his sisters Pauline Rossmaessler of CA; his granddaughters Jocelyn and Isabella as well as his nieces and nephews Peter and his wife Erin, Elise, David, Monica and Lisa.  He is predeceased by his sister Marie McDuff Pomfriet. 

Funerals services will be held on Tuesday Dec. 10, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to Blessed Sacrament Church in Waterbury for Mass at 10 a.m.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
