Dorothy Jones-Pope, passed away Sunday March 23, 2014 at her Cheshire residence. She was 92.
She was born July 31, 1921, a daughter of the late John R. and Evangeline (Cooper) Gramm.
She was the widow of H. Lawrence Pope of North Haven.
Mrs. Jones-Pope is survived by a daughter, Sheryle Seybold and her husband Steve, of Maryland, three step-daughters, Sylvia Nichols and her husband Bruce Klein of Cheshire, Katharine Fuchs of Melbourne, FL, and Elizabeth Pope of Hamden; two grandsons Peter Nichols and Tom Nichols and four great-grandchildren; nieces Nancy Ward and husband Ronald, and Susan Hicks, and a brother-in-law George Loftus.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Margery Loftus.
Funeral services are private and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven, MA. There are no calling hours.
The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., is assisting with the arrangements.
