Cheshire Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Mount Sanford Road (updated 10:30 p.m.)

Police identify victim as Benjamin Feinn, 75, of Cheshire.

According to multiple reports, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday afternoon on Mount Sanford Road in Cheshire.

UPDATE: WFSB.com is reporting that the victim is a man that was struck by a car while he was driving. 


The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police and no arrests have been made, wfsb.com reports. The fatal crash remains under investigation by the Cheshire Police Department, however investigators told Eyewitness News it appears to be an "unfortunate incident." 

UPDATE (10:30 p.m.): Police have identified the victim as Benjamin Feinn, 75, of Cheshire, according to nbcconnecticut.com.

According to police, Feinn was struck by a dump truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident.
