Cheshire Police Blotter: Feb. 15 - 20

The following arrest information was provided by the Cheshire Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a less than typical case this week, officers arrested a Waterbury man after he was caught red-handed trying to steal a public fire hydrant on South Main Street. Officers also responded to a domestic case and arrested a Waterbury woman on drug charges after a traffic stop revealed there was a warrant out for her arrest. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.

The Cheshire Police Department reported the following arrests:

Feb. 15

Mary Geagea, 23, of 124 Capitol Ave. in Waterbury, was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and allowing a motor vehicle to be operated while under suspension, Feb. 15.

Jeffrey Hickson, 27, of 19 Richard Terrace in Waterbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension, Feb. 15.

Feb. 16

John Keeley, 50, of 1236 Meriden Road in Waterbury, was charged with third-degree larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief, Feb. 16.

Feb. 18

Margaret Mannocchi, 53, of 431 Peck Lane in Cheshire, was charged with disorderly conduct, Feb. 18.

Vincent Mannocchi, 22, of 431 Peck Lane in Cheshire, was charged with disorderly conduct, Feb. 18.

Feb. 20

Mary A. Helming, 62, of 313 Sir Walter Drive in Cheshire, was charged with disorderly conduct, Feb. 20.
