Cheshire Police Blotter: Jan. 17 - 21

The following arrest information was provided by the Cheshire Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

There were three arrests reported by Cheshire officers over the past week, including the arrest of a woman that detectives said was cashing fraudulent business checks in November. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Cheshire Police Department reported the following arrests:

Jan. 17

Lisa Vidtor, 44, of 42 Putnam St. in New Britain, was charged with third-degree forgery and fourth-degree larceny, Jan. 17.

Jan. 20

Joseph Gorham, 48, of no known address, was charged with disorderly conduct, Jan. 20.

Jan. 21

Tomek Paluch, 23, of 210 Winding Ridge in Southington, was charged with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Jan. 21.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with speeding/traveling unreasonably fast.
  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Two people were cited with failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
  • Two people were cited with failure to meet minimum insurance requirements.
  • One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • One person was cited with improper operation of a bicycle.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
