Cheshire Police Blotter: Jan. 29 - 30

The following arrest information was provided by the Cheshire Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police reported two arrests this week as officers served a warrant on a Milford man who was wanted for violation of probation and issued a misdemeanor summons after considerable motor vehicle infractions. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Cheshire Police Department reported the following arrests:


Jan. 29

Mark Yates, 50, of 105 Valentino Drive in Waterbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to return registration following suspension, Jan. 29.

Jan. 30

Mark McGilton, 38, of 28 Westfield Road in Milford, was charged with violation of probation, Jan. 30.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited wth speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with failure to meet minimum insurance requirements.
