Child Hit by Car Tuesday Morning.

The child's injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.

Cheshire Police are investigating an accident Tuesday that left a 10-year-old injured.

The child was walking along Wiese Road when they were hit by a car shortly after 8:30 a.m., according to police. The injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The child was treated and released from St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday, according to police.

It wasn't released what the child was doing on the road. The police department's Accident Division is investigating the incident. No arrests have been made, though police have talked to the driver of the car that struck the child, according to police.
